⚠️ Important information about reservation security

Over the past few days, some of our guests have told us that they have received messages via WhatsApp, email or phone regarding their reservations.

These messages pretend to be from Ideas Peregrinas and may use real reservation details to request a payment, ask you to confirm your booking or request personal information.

We want to reassure you that there is no reason to believe there is anything wrong with your reservation. This is a fraud campaign that is affecting accommodation providers and guests across the tourism sector.

MisterPlan, the reservation management system we use, has confirmed that there has been no security breach and no unauthorised access to its platform has been detected. According to the information available, this type of fraud uses impersonation and social engineering techniques to try to deceive guests.

How can you protect yourself?

🔸 Do not click on links you receive in messages about your reservation unless you are completely sure they are genuine.

🔸 Do not make payments or enter your bank details through links received via WhatsApp, SMS or email.

🔸 Even if the message contains real details about your reservation, this does not mean it is legitimate. Criminals often use this information to make their messages appear genuine.

🔸 If you have any doubts, contact Ideas Peregrinas directly using our official channels.

You can also report the attempted fraud to INCIBE (Spain’s National Cybersecurity Institute) to help authorities keep track of these incidents.
